Building permit to Remove the concrete bioreactor 1A tank at the wastewater treatment plant, and install a nutrient management facility building in its place. The new building will have a slightly larger footprint than the former tank. This will improve the treatment of phosphorous at the wastewater treatment plant, which will reduce the phosphorous loading on the Red Deer River. There will also be renovation work completed in the building adjacent to the bioreactor tank, in the tunnels and in the supernatant shack by the sludge lagoons.
